WWE 2K23 has dethroned Hogwarts Legacy from the summit of the UK All Format Chart following its launch last week, ending a five-week number one run for the fantasy-RPG.
In terms of physical sales, the PS5 version of WWE 2K23 accounted for 53% of all boxed copies sold, followed by 23% on PS4, 15% on Xbox Series X/S, and 9% on Xbox One. However, the game sold 26% fewer physical copies at launch than last year’s WWE 2K22, although there was a lot riding on that game as it was the first entry in the series in two years.
Hogwarts Legacy meanwhile saw a 24% decrease in sales week-on-week, resulting in Portkey Games’ title slipping to second place.
