Tony Todd, horror veteran behind the voice of Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, has sparked hope that the we’ll be getting more info on the highly anticipated web-slinging sequel soon Tomorrow, in fact, as Todd has teased something is dropping.
While there’s no guarantee the following tweet pertains to Spider-Man 2 (so don’t get your hopes up too much), we could be in for a surprise, so it’s worth keeping it in mind. It’s also worth noting that Todd retweeted a reply featuring a gif of Venom, so hey, we could be lucky after all!
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is currently in development for PS5 at Insomniac Games, and sees Peter Parker and Miles Morales (the protagonists of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, respectively) teaming up to take down Venom.
While a concrete release date hasn’t been announced yet, Insomniac Games has reiterated that the game will launch next year. Elsewhere, the actor who portrayed Harry Osborn in Spider-Man has revealed he’s not returning for the sequel.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is due out on PS5 in 2023.
