Insomniac Games has officially confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch for PS5 in Fall 2023, matching the leak earlier this week from the website of one of the game’s writers.
The studio revealed the news in a post on the PlayStation Blog detailing some of the biggest highlights for Sony’s console next year.
What a year it’s been for PlayStation Studios; here at Insomniac Games we’ve been in absolute awe of the work of our peers. Congrats to everyone on a successful 2022… and here’s to next year being just as exciting as we continue to get Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ready for release next fall.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 sees Peter Parker and Miles Morales teaming up against resident super baddie Venom, played by horror veteran Tony Todd. Insomniac Games is also working on Marvel’s Wolverine, although we don’t know much about that title yet and it’s unknown if it’ll make it out next year.
