XDefiant Cross-Play Test Coming To PS5 On February 16-20

Ubisoft has announced an XDefiant Cross-Play test for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S, which will run February 16 — 20. The publisher had previously held Insider Sessions for PC last year, and this latest one will bring console owners into the equation.

The XDefiant Cross-Play will offer players access to four game modes and 13 maps in total, including the Pueblito map, which is set in Yara, the fictional Caribbean nation seen in Far Cry 6.

XDefiant is a free-to-play shooter that marries intense firefights with personalised loadouts and specialised factions, with teams of players battling for supremacy. The game was originally labelled Tom Clancy’s XDefiant, as at the time it featured factions only from Tom Clancy franchise such has Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon.

However, in March last year Ubisoft announced that the project was dropping the Tom Clancy association, with numerous factions from other Ubisoft IPs joining the game.
