Well folks, I think we have our first proper showcase of the PSVR2’s impressive eye-tracking capabilities. An emotional tale which takes place in the afterlife, Before Your Eyes has players journeying with a mysterious boatman who invites them to re-experience key moments of their life from their first romance, to their last breaths.
Absolutely as gut-wrenchingly emotional as all of that sounds, Before Your Eyes goes a massive step further by being the first PSVR2 game to really put the eye-tracking functionality of the headset front and centre, requiring players to hold eye contact (or not) with different loved ones and acquaintances during the course of their lifetime, while blinking forces time forward and unlocks new secrets in certain scenes.
Bring the tissues, this one is going to make a whole lot of folks do the ugly cry thing and I can’t wait for it.
