Yes, PUBG PS4 is now entirely free! You can now download the battle royale game via the PlayStation Store for PS4 without spending a penny. This gives you access to most content, but if you want to have everything, you will need to purchase the PUBG Battlegrounds Plus version for premium goodies.
However, if you already purchased PUBG on PS4 while it was a full-priced game, you will be automatically upgraded to the Plus version at no extra cost.
