The latest update for Sony’s most recent blockbuster God of War Ragnarök has dropped and is now available for download.
Coming in at a relatively meagre 300MB and alluding to general quality of life improvements and stability fixes, it pales in comparison to the sizeable day-one patch which included an exhaustive list of tweaks and performance boosts all housed within a still commendable 745MB.
With that unfortunately, there is yet to be official patch notes for update 2.001 so you can perhaps put into a similar bracket to those console stability updates that arrive and we’re never quite sure what they address.
Having released on November 9, God of War Ragnarök has received near-unanimous praise, with PSU’s own review concluding that it’s ‘’a meaty and deeply emotional epic that effortlessly secures its place as one of the best games on PS5 and a sure-fire Game of the Year candidate.”
Moreover, it seems as if it’s been a hit sales-wise, too, with confirmation that the game’s launch was the series’ best ever in the U.K.
