The Microsoft Store backend has seemingly outed the Diablo 4 release date as June 5, 2023.
While this is by no means an official announcement, it does tie in with reports that emerged only this week, where it was claimed that Diablo 4 would launch in June next year. April 2023 has also been mentioned as a possible release window, but we won’t know for certain while Blizzard is keeping mum.
Elsewhere, it has also been reported that hands-on impressions for Diablo 4 will be going live this week, and that preorders for the game are set to roll out this month. Blizzard meanwhile has promised the game won’t feature any pay-to-win, Diablo Immortal-style microtransactions.
Diablo 4 is currently in development for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Blizzard has only committed to a 2023 release window so far, although hopefully we’ll hear more about the game at The Game Awards 2022.
