As part of IGN’s coverage of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, developer Respawn revealed nine whole minutes of gameplay, where we get our first look at a new planet in the Star Wars universe and some of Cal’s new powers and techniques.
The gameplay is set on the planet Koboh, a new planet we’ve yet to explore within the world of Star Wars.
Cal crash lands on Koboh after a mission goes awry, and what we see shows off much of the planet along with a whole host of Cal’s new abilities.

Another aspect we get to see in this gameplay is the new host of enemies that Cal will have to face off against. Battle droids have now been thrown in the mix somehow, and there seems to be an even greater host of hostile fauna for you to slice through with a lightsaber.
Of course the various new force abilities and lightsaber techniques we see Cal pull off in this short nine minutes is what’s most enticing, as it looks like players will have an even more in-depth combat system this time around.
