Zombie sequel Dead Island 2 has pulled the wraps off its latest Slayer in the shape of Bruno, courtesy of a new trailer from developer Dambuster Studios.
Bruno is the sixth and final Slayer for the game, and is described as a calculating hustler who is skilled at pulling off heights and high-stakes theft. Since the zombie invasion, he’s taken up the position of full-time undead slayer, and is pretty agile at doing so.
One of Bruno’s main skills is Backstab, which as you would expect sees him attacking the undead from behind, which grants Bruno a moderate damage boost. Meanwhile, Rapid Reprisal boosts Bruno’s Ability and Heavy Attack Charges while blocking and dodging.
Dead Island 2 is scheduled for release on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on April 21, 2023. The game went gold last week, at which point it was confirmed the game would be arriving a week earlier than expected.
Originally announced in 2014, Dead Island 2 has endured a tumultuous development cycle that has seen it shift across multiple development studios, including Yager and Sumo Digital.
