MLB The Show 23, the next entry in the Sony San Diego Studio’s annual baseball simulator title will launch on PS5 and PS4 on March 28, 2023.
With Miami Marlins own Jazz Chisholm Jr. chosen to be the cover athlete for the year. Along with the announcement came a new trailer, which shows off some of Chisholm Jr.’s best moments in the big leagues.
MLB The Show was for years a PlayStation exclusive franchise, though all that changed with the release of MLB The Show 21, which was the first in the franchise to launch on other platforms.
Now, the series releases across Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles, alongside PlayStation.

This year’s release will be cross-platform, allowing you to play on any console you choose while being able to carry over all your well-earned progress.
For now, Sony San Diego has yet to reveal any details about what’ll be new with this year’s entry, though more news is set to be revealed through Feature Premiere episodes soon to come.
Pre-orders for MLB The Show 23 will go live on February 6, 2023, ahead of its March release.
