The Last of Us HBO came to a close earlier this week with a gripping finale, and it didn’t take long for fans to spot a brief appearance by one of the video game series’ major voice actors — Laura Bailey.
Bailey of course voices Abby Anderson in The Last of Us Part 2, and she appears in HBO’s The Last of Us as one of the nurses present in the operating room where Joel finds Ellie unconscious as she’s being prepped for surgery. To be fair, if you didn’t realise it was Bailey, you aren’t the only one; her face is obscured by a mask, so it’s difficult to tell for sure. But yep, that’s her!
The character of Abby is a polarising one to say the least, and she plays a major role in The Last of Us Part 2, which The Last of Us HBO Season 2 will cover. However, it’s been noted that the events of that game may be too big to cover in just one season, so we’ll have to see how it pans out.
The Last of Us HBO was renewed for a second season earlier this year, although details are currently being kept under wraps.
