Bethesda has announced that Ghostwire Tokyo: The Spider’s Thread will launch on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on April 12, 2023. This also marks the game’s debut on Xbox formats, having been a console exclusive to PS5 since its original release, and will also come to Game Pass.
The Spider’s Thread features new areas to explore including a haunted middle school, various quality-of-life improvements, and more content. Also included are extended cutscenes for the main story, which offers a deeper look into the core narrative.
The update will be available free on PC and PS5, and adds “many additions to the main story campaign for Ghostwire Tokyo,” including a roguelike game mode where players must take on a 30-stage gauntlet cobbled together from more than 130 levels.
Ghostwire Tokyo was released for PS5 and PC on March 25, 2022. You can read our full verdict on the Tango Gameworks-developed horror game here.
