Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, has started the hype rain rolling for its planned rival to EA Sports FC, describing the continuation of the brand as the ‘best e-game for any girl or boy.”
In case you’ve been living under a rock, FIFA and EA have now parted ways after 30 years developing football games together, with EA continuing with its own franchise and FIFA set to launch its own rival. According to The Times’ Martyn Ziegler, Infantino made the comments after being re-elected as president of FIFA.
The new FIFA game – the FIFA 25, 26, 27 and so on – will always be the best e-game for any girl or boy. We will have news on this very soon.
It isn’t known yet when FIFA’s first game without EA will be released, although Infantino’s comments suggest that it may come out next year to go up against EA Sports FC 25.
