Layers of Fear developers Bloober Team and Anshar Studios have released 11 minutes of gameplay footage for the upcoming horror title.
Layers of Fear (2023) is a tribute to our fans. The game has shaped the way in which we strive to make the best horror experiences possible, and we’re hopeful that our community will enjoy what we consider to be the series’ crowning work.
The game is due out on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in June, and is powered by the Unreal Engine 5 allowing for a wealth of impressive visual features such as ray-tracing, HDR, and 4K resolution, while the Lumen system affords an impressive graphical fidelity that allow for a spine-chilling and immersive experience for players.
Layers of Fear is seen as a unified horror romp that appeals to returning fans and newcomers alike, including Layers of Fear and Layers of Fear 2, plus all available downloadable content including brand new The Final Note chapter. In addition, Layers of Fear includes the previously untold story of The Writer.
Layers of Fear includes a haunting soundtrack composed by Arek Reikowski, and weaves a psychological story that marries exploration, puzzle solving and immersive storytelling.
