Insomniac Games‘ upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine will reportedly employ new technology for dialogue, according to lead engine programmer Elan Ruskin.
Speaking during a live stream, Ruskin mentioned the studio is working with “really cool dialogue technology,” although didn’t go into any further detail.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for release on PS5 in Fall 2023, while Marvel’s Wolverine has yet to attract a release date. A report earlier this year claims that Wolverine is targeting a Fall 2024 launch and is pushing for an R rating.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, who will be teaming up to take down super villain, Venom, voiced by Tony Todd.
