Microsoft Reiterates That It Would Make ‘Zero Business Sense’ To Remove Call Of Duty From PlayStation

Microsoft has revealed during an interview with Axios that it conducted a YouGov survey in January that found only 3% of all PlayStation players would make the jump to Xbox for Call of Duty if the multi-million selling franchise ends up becoming exclusive Xbox following its acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

As a result of these findings, Microsoft’s Competition Law Group corporate VP, Rima Alaily, claims that Call of Duty is “too small to hurt Sony’s ability to compete and too small to make a withholding strategy profitable for Xbox. As we have said all along: it makes zero business sense to take Call of Duty off PlayStation.
